Call for Emergencies:
We are monitoring the winter weather expected this weekend and want to share a few important reminders.
- If you experience a power outage, please notify us as soon as possible, as customers are often aware of outages before we are. Please note that our well houses operate on electricity, and power outages can impact water service. If you experience a power outage, we kindly ask that you conserve water.
- Our operators will be on call; however, response times may be impacted as winter weather can affect roadways and create deteriorating driving conditions, and operator safety must be taken into consideration.
- In preparation for a possible power outage and/or impassable roads, we recommend that you fill up a tub with water. This water can then be used during a power outage, especially to flush toilets. To flush, fill the toilet tank as needed.
- During freezing temperatures, it is recommended that customers take proactive steps to help avoid frozen pipes, such as insulating exposed pipes and allowing faucets to drip slightly when temperatures are expected to remain below freezing.
